Dr. Owens should be the lead physician for a cancer patients process through treatment. I'm certain she's knowledgable with other diagnoses especially those terminal as well. She is not afraid of pain & believes her patients. Cancer is an overwhelming diagnosis & often requires numerous physicians all with their own subspecialty. However there is no one that takes the lead, guides the patient & helps them make decisions based on diagnosis, prognosis & viable choices. Dr. Owens can see the whole & does not waste resources while giving the patient the best care. She is kind & compassionate. She is strong & tender. She offers guidance but does not accept excuses. I feel that I matter to Dr. Owens.
