Patient Reviews
Nov 08, 2023
Basically, he saved the eyesight in my right eye after a retinal detachment. There are apparently difficult and less difficult retinal detachments, and I had the former, difficult. Difficult enough that it was obvious that the first ophthalmologist I saw was actually nervous at the idea of performing the surgery to fix it. He referred me to Dr. Khorrami, who scheduled me for surgery the next morning. Because he had to use silicon oil instead of saline due to the difficulty of the case, he had to perform a second surgery a couple months later to remove the oil. So it took several months to determine, but indeed I’m seeing near 20/20 from the eye now.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
