Dr. Alireza Amirsadri (Dr. A) provides his psychiatric services at Western Wayne Family Health Centers Inkster facility where I have been his patient for over two years now. We meet via virtual monthly visits; more recently we meet every 2-3 months with an open option for greater frequency if the need arises. When I first sat with Dr. A jaded, mistrusting, and dissatisfied with other psych professionals. Trying to work my way through a nervous breakdown, divorce, loss of my career, depression, stress and life; but I knew the weight of it all would eventually crush me. Dr. A took it slow and built trust while addressing the areas that could cause me further harm. Decreasing my dependence on sedatives to help me with my insomnia is a major hurdle. Improving my self-esteem and self-image another. I have tools to use, breathing to control my anxiety/impulses and light therapy for depression. From chaos to manageable. Dr. A's experience is impressive but his ability to apply is phenomenal.
