When I needed a biopsy, Dr. Yingling performed it with absolutely zero discomfort. (I didn't even feel the anesthetic shot.) I could watch it all on the monitor while she, her nurse, and I chatted cheerfully about other things--a strategy no doubt designed to set me at ease. (It worked.) I felt cared for at all times and that the diagnosis I received was absolutely correct. If I ever need another, I won't be worrying about the process at all. I now get all my mammography screenings done at Mount Nittany. Knowing that either Dr. Yingling or Dr. Hood will be reading and promptly posting the results (as opposed to an outsourced radiologist where I'd previously been having this done) means that someone who knows me as a human being is taking that reading seriously.
