I have been having trouble with recurring eye irritation for nearly two years without any end in sight. I have tried half a dozen different treatments with no lasting relief and have been feeling frustrated and hopeless. Luckily, my PCP recommended Dr. Allison Landes. Dr. Landes is professional, knowledgeable, and has a great personality -- very caring and witty. Walking through a plan with her has helped so much on outlook, and she hs also offered improvements on the treatments. I just saw her yesterday, so I'm not 'all better', yet, BUT it is very obvious to me that this doctor knows her stuff! As I struggled to explain what I was experiencing, she was with me all the way, listening and feeding me some bits and pieces of the opthalmology medical jargon to help me along. I finally understand what's happening, and that alone is a great comfort! And I've also got some specialized skincare supplies and ointment medicine.
