Dr Downs was my primary provider up until ACA happened. I was there for over 12 years until they no longer were allowed to take cash patients. My insurance was not accepted at any athens regional facility at the time, so i was forced to find new doctor. Since that time, i have been to more then 4 internists in town who do not come close to Dr Downs practice. She actually listened, examined me, did proper lab and diagnostics based on the findings. There was no guess work on her part.
