I appreciated Dr. Dadwal's efforts to understand my unique needs and try to address my medication needs to actually fit the problem. Previous doctors would prescribe medications whose side effects MIGHT address my issues instead of prescribing medication that address the issues directly. I've ended up having negative reactions to those medications or they have no affect at all. Dr. Dadwal listened to my frustration with that method and was willing to address the actual issues. With my laundry list of medications that didn't work or had bad side effects, she was appropriately cautious but willing to explore other ways. Above all, it was clear she listened, and that was reassuring that I might get some actual help.
