Dr Askew treated me for a relatively routine issue. A minor complicatio developed when I was out of town. She resumed my care upon return, and quickly identified what would have been life threatening issues, as a result of improper care at another facility. She operated, and corrected as much damage as possible. She monitored me frequently for the next 6 months, trying various outpatient procedures to provide further relief. It was an extremely stressful, seemingly endless time. She was always very compassionate and attentive. She discussed at length, reasonable expectations of the degree to which my health could be restored. Ultimately, she suggested a full pelvic floor reconstruction. Reluctantly I opted for the surgery. While I am still early in recovery, it appears her efforts to make multiple repairs will be largely successful. I have many chronic health conditions. Dr Askew is that rare physician that takes the time to listen and provide the best care tailored to the situation
