Patient Reviews
Nov 05, 2024
I recently underwent a bilateral turbinate reduction and septoplasty with Dr. Yeung to finally be able to breathe through my nose after almost 15 years. From the initial consultation to the procedure itself, my experience was overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Yeung's pre-op appointments were straightforward, informative, and reassuring. She had me scheduled for surgery within 30 days. However, preparing for the procedure was a bit complicated for me personally. Earlier in the year, I had a difficult delivery with my first child, involving an emergency C-section. Although I thought I had recovered mentally from that experience, I found myself unexpectedly overwhelmed as I faced my first surgery since then. Dr. Yeung provided a level of care and understanding that went above and beyond my expectations; her empathy and attentiveness matched what I had only experienced in the OB/delivery room. It was exactly what I needed at that moment, and I am deeply grateful. As for the surgery itself, I genuinely cannot recommend it more. I hadn’t realized how much airflow I had been missing—I had honestly forgotten what it felt like to breathe freely. The recovery was quick, taking about a week, and I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Yeung’s skill and care in making this possible. If you’re considering this procedure, I can confidently say you’ll be in the best hands with Dr. Yeung.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
