I have been seeing Dr. Hernandez for over two years. In my life time, I have seen a lot of psychiatrists. Unlike the others, Dr. Hernandez takes the time to talk and really get to know me and what is going on in my life. She doesn't just prescribe medications like so many other psych doctors, she also helps me to work through issues and helps me to come up with action plans to improve my life and mental health. Recently, she discovered a physical ailment that I was not aware of that is pretty significant. My PCP could not see me for ages so Dr. Hernandez went above and beyond to help me. She made time to see me outside of my regular schedule, contacted my PCP to explain the urgency, and she checks up on me to see if I'm ok. I would recommend her to anyone!
