This was our 2nd visit to Covenant's ER in a week for help dealing with our daughter's severe chronic migraine pain. The first visit was also good, but the 2nd with Dr. Bazakis was exceptional. First off, we were placed in a pediatric ER room immediately upon registering. The kid-friendly staff and surroundings added to the pleasant experience. Dr. Bazakis entered our room within 15 minutes of our arrival, having read our daughter's file, impressively up to date on her medical history. His intentional focus on her, listening to what she had to say, was welcoming after our experience at another ER in the area. He asked her many clarifying questions and once he had sufficient information, recommended a new path forward which we were very appreciative of. The plan involved a different migraine drug, which worked wonderfully, and a CT scan that ruled out other causes. Everything was done rather quickly, but not rushed. Could not have expected better treatment.
