Dr. Milby really is a great guy and excellent physician. I had so many questions that he handled so well; he was patient, thorough, kind, and very informative. The conclusion of our appointment was that while he *could* perform a surgery on me, the benefits don't yet outweigh the risks. He didn't hesitate to remind me that he'd be available to me if that situation changed. He's also one of very few physicians with knowledge of treating patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Dr. Milby said to me "I'm glad you came to me and that I'm now a part of your care team. I'm here if you need me, but let's hope you don't!" in which he meant he hoped that my condition could improve without needing surgery (because surgery would inevitably lead to later complications). I really appreciated his attitude towards me and the way he assured me I could rely on him when/if the time came. Such a nice man and kind doctor. I wish I could give him 10 stars! I'm very thankful to have met him & be his patient.
