Dr. Nguyen is a fine surgeon who comes with an excellent reputation. I don't have anything bad to say about his surgical skill or surgical knowledge. Although I did find some of his descriptions on explaining my condition to be a little bit too over simplified for my liking. I am an educated individual. Also when I went for my appointments he talked to my husband rather then me! I did not like this at all. One member of his care team, the medical coordinator, is a huge problem. Her name is Iliana Oliva. This woman is a bully and should not be allowed near patients. I had 5 encounters with this women which were absolutely shameful for a person in the field of caring for individuals. One stand out encounter is her calling to reprimand me for calling her after a message. This supposedly wasted her precious time and took her away from scheduling, yet she had enough time to call to just yell at me. I did not complain as she held my surgery schedule in her hands. Counsel her asap
