Patient Reviews
May 31, 2024
I had a terrible pediatrician prior to finding Chisholm Trail Pediatrics, so when we found Dr. Cavanagh, it was a breath of fresh air. He has a great rapport with my children even though we haven't really needed to go in, except for well-check ups. I have chosen to abstain from some vaccines and follow Dr. Paul's Vaccine Friendly plan, and no one in the practice has 'shamed' me or tried to coerce me into getting those vaccines that we are not giving to our children. When I ask questions about 'ear infection prevention', I'm given knowledgable answers or explanations. I wish I had gone to this practice before I shot my first kid up with more vaccines than he needed and had a bad reaction to only to prevent getting 'kicked out' of his previous pediatricians practice. Thanks for not forcing masks on my children either! COVID really brought out the worst in some pediatrician's offices, and I'm thankful that this practice honors and respects parents' intuition.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
