Dr Dhople saved my life when he worked out of Melbourne, Fl. I have a rare and typically fatal form of cancer - so rare that Mayo and Moffitt clinics had only ever treated one case. I had been given two weeks to live after chemo and during Interferon Alpha treatments. Although Dr Dhople agreed with the prognosis, he devised and recommended a radiation therapy treatment that should destroy one of the tumors that was growing up my airway and had already closed off one lung. Even then he gave me some time in his office to consider the treatment. The treatment was obviously successful but did not get rid of the cancer itself (which was not the goal). He treated my other lung several years later. I am in remission for the third time and thank him for giving me a chance to continue to live (almost 10 years after my first rad treatment). His expertise and ability to explain the procedure and communicate effectively is top notch!
