I had surgery on Christmas Eve at Hopkins. Dr. Sekaran explained the plan, step by step, scientifically but with compassion. She checked in with me again upon arrival in the OR while there were a lot of other staff zooming around and made me feel like a human. Her mychart notes afterward were detailed - she did a great job, start to finish. Highly recommend.
