I ended up at the hospital with acute pancreatitis and needed my gallbladder removed. Dr Aronova explained and diagrammed the procedure in a straightforward manner. I was aware I may or may not require an endoscopy afterward. I was completely comfortable and confident in her.The surgery was performed robotically and two weeks later I couldn’t find a mark from the incisions. I went home a day after being checked into the hospital. As she informed me may be the case, I did return a short time later for an endoscopy which was also a breeze! Not only did Dr. Aronova do a fabulous job on my surgery but she checked in on me regularly throughout my 2 visits to the hospital and afterwards. She made me feel as if I were a family member who she was making sure everything went well with, not just a patient.While I may have been lucky to end up with Dr. Aronova since she was on shift that day, if you have time to choose your surgeon, I would highly recommend her.
