While on vacation in North Carolina I went to the Central Hartnett Hospital due to severe stomach pain and nausea. Dr Pevzner-Kalika examined me to determine the cause of my illness. She told me the CT scan showed an abnormality with my pancreas and recommended I contact my family physician immediately upon my return home. Because of her it has been confirmed that I have a serious medical condition called Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm and require a total pancreatectomy.
