I had attempted to pierce myself but it got infected (I won’t try again) and I put off seeing a doctor for as long as I could because I was worried that I would be judged for it. Dr. Valaas-Turner was very helpful and got me the medication I needed over virtual care with no issues and didn’t make me feel embarrassed, interrogated, or judged. Thank you so much!
