Dr. Knudsen delivered my son via cesarean and let me just note that it healed so well it doesn’t look like more than a paper cut! At first it was a pretty substantial cut that looked horrifying, but that is the nature of childbirth. It has been 2 months. Another note is that I started going to Providence well after my fourth month because I was getting seen at Women’s Healthcare Associates. Now they were TERRIBLE! And if you go to Kaiser, well good luck to you and prayers you don’t end up in a morgue with your baby. Dr. Knudsen is EXCELLENT! And I am both picky and bipolar so that is saying something. There are clearly staffing shortages across the medical field but she absolutely makes the most of her time with each individual and gets all the paperwork you need in a timely and professional fashion. I’d recommend Dr. Knudsen and her team to ANY pregnant woman. You will not receive better care ANYWHERE else (except probably OHSU and it would be equally as great).
