Dr. Ranta became my doctor for a brief few months 15 to 20 years ago. She was about to take a maternity leave but pretty much saved my life before she did. I was addicted to a particular chronic pain medication, and she was one of the few doctors at that time to recognize that it would eventually take my life. She successfully got me off that medication and onto a sensible cocktail of other medications to control my pain. Thank goodness Dr. Ranta came into my life when she did. I will be forever grateful.
