Dr Stillwell is the second doctor I went to for Pain Management. She was my first choice, but I was unable to get a timely appointment. I was in extreme pain, so I chose an alternate Pain Management doctor. when you are in so much pain, and your doctor of first choice is not available, you simply choose another doctor. The doctor I chose gave me two epidurals. There was no change. I finally got an appointment with Dr Stillwell. She worked out a viable plan concerning my particular problem. After the first injection, there was no improvement. Rather than convince me to get a second epidural, followed by a procedure, she was very honest and suggested that I see a surgeon. Dr Stillwell spent an extraordinary amount of time talking with me on the telephone. I was not rushed, and she was extremely concerned. She suggested that surgery would be the only recourse. she recommended Dr in Manhattan as well as in Staten Island. I told her which doctor I was going to see and she called the doctor
