Dr Van Es is awesome. My son was showing signs of T1D. We took him in as a last appt on a Friday and Van Es was SOOO patient and sympathetic. He knew my son was worried and he tried very hard to keep my son distracted while we were waiting for the hospital to call back. It's hard finding docs that will even know to DX T1D. Very thankful that he did!
