In a word, superb. He treated me when he was in residency, and was clearly better than the other residents who worked with me. It was like working with a really experienced doctor and not a second to third year resident. It was no surprise to me when he was invited back to teach and lecture in his residency program. But he learned from the best; his mentor was an outstanding old hand with 50 years' experience.
