I was brought into the emergency room at Ascension St. Vincent in Carmel with stomach pains. I was introduced to Dr. Zappia after it was determined that my gall bladder needed to be removed. I was very impressed with his caring and gentle nature. Post surgery, I realized what a great job he did. Everything went according to plan. The one-week followup went very well, too. His staff is just as kind as he is.
