Dr. Matveev is a rare find in a world of turmoil and uncertainty. His calm and caring approach put me at ease immediately. I explained that my torn meniscus was now causing constant pain, and I needed relief. Between his probing questions and an ultrasound of my knee, he formed a diagnosis that made sense to me based on the pain I was having. During the ultrasound, he turned the screen so I could see it and explained exactly what I was seeing in the shadows, bright spots, etc. Afterwards, he drew diagrams of bones and cartilage to visually explain why I was feeling pain. He listed and clearly described a variety of options to treat it. The pros and cons of each method were explained, and we made a joint decision on the path to take. Dr. Matveev is extremely knowledgeable and introduced me to options ranging from supplements to exercise to injections. He and his welcoming staff sent me away with reading material that I have found helpful. I would rate Dr. Matveev an A plus!
