I could not have been more fortunate to have secured Dr. Plakseychuk as the provider of my second medical opinion regarding hip replacement surgery. His assessment of my situation was thorough and completely direct while maintaining a strong sense of empathy. I knew immediately that I would be in good hands during the surgery, and the results speak for themselves: I was using a cane on the second day post-op and dispensed with it completely in 2 weeks. For the first time in years I am not in pain and the care of Dr. Plakseychuk's entire team at the UPMC Magee Bone and Joint Center will help me to remain so for many years to come.
