I've been therapy for nearly all of my life and Dr. Laskey has been my best therapist ever. I've seen her for just over 2 years. I really like that she listens intently, applies practical steps for mental recovery, teaches techniques so I have learned to counsel myself to some degree. We come together as equals meaning that she is always open to feedback and in fact, requests it so she can best suit her patients. Her prescriptions for me have been very well managed and responsible. I especially have appreciated that given my health history is very complicated. She is very well trained in CBT with Dr. Burns at least, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is committed to my recovery. She also has a healthy sense of humor which is always welcome while tackling tough issues.
