Dr Shmelev is phenomenal. I had a hernia that was blocking my abdomen and bowels. As soon as my husband and I met Dr Shmelev, we knew this was the right Dr for my surgery. His wealth of knowledge is so impressive and extensive. He also is warm, compassionate and funny. When I had a question regarding my surgery, He got back to me within 20 minutes. No other doctor does that!! He performed my surgery robotically with 3 little scars. But best of all, I have little pain. I had my surgery less than 12 hours ago. But had to write about this rare wonderful doctor. If you need hernia surgery, I more than recommend him. If I could give him a million stars I would. He is spectacular.
