Dr Menezes is an excellent, caring doctor. Unfortunately he is affiliated with Pima Heart which has a monopoly in Tucson. They are the farthest thing from caring. It is impossible to get through by phone if there is a concern between scheduled appointments. Dr Menezes himself told me not to bother with the phone or the patient portal, but to come in to the office, and that I was not the first person to complain. I now have an issue with a prescription and don’t have time to drive to the office and wait around in hope of getting it resolved. The worst part is the Pima Heart monopoly in Tucson. Every cardiologist is part of it, other than Banner which is it’s own impossible bureaucracy.
