Patient Reviews

I am not sure exactly what to say but I have seen this Doctor treat my family over the past year. I am writing this review because I found out he he is leaving Bedford, PA. I am in tears at thinking about it. Talking to the nursing staff and administrators everyone seems to love him and everything he has done. He apparently was able to transform the hospital and leave a very strong impression. The nurse teared up and cried at the thought of him leaving saying he is the best doctor in 30years. I did not realize it a temporary 1 year assignment. He apparently was helping out the community and then went to train the a new doctor to take over in Everett. What a loss for UPMC. They should have found a way to keep him. He is the most caring, yet at times blunt doctor I have ever met. He is funny, knowledgeable and was able to win over my very difficult family members when they came to the hospital. My family is so sad they wont be able to see him anymore. We wish him all the best.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
