I spent a year being (mis)diagnosed with asthma by both an ENT and and an allergy/asthma specialist. My breathing had become quite labored and did not respond to inhalers of any kind. In desperation, I contacted Dr. Dunn's office. She listened to my talking and breathing for about 5 minutes, told me that the pattern did not fit asthma, then scoped my throat with a flexible larygoscope - something that no one else had done - and found a subglottic stenosis that was closing off about 60 % of my airway. She gave me an urgent referral to the best of the best ENT surgeons in California. I am deeply indebted to her outstanding care! What a great doctor!
