Dr. Garg was the Attending Physician that admitted a family member through the ER . He was compassionate and very empathetic but more importantly he assessed the patient as an individual and not just the illness. He realized that she needed a few days of inpatient care and not just sent home with a prescription. The ability to treat a patient and not a disease is a skill that real doctors possess.
