Took my wife on a Friday afternoon close to closing. Turned out she needed emergency surgery for a detached retina ASAP (the next morning in Virginia). As it takes time to dilate your pupils, Dr. George and Tina both stayed after office hours to examine her. She could have gone blind without his help. Tina has asked me to wait or reschedule because of other patients without appointments that also had emergencies. No problem, I can always come back later. I understand because it happened to me!

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
