I had gone in for my semi annual check up, and Dr. Burlac had recommended that I replaced two of my old silver fillings that were starting to deteriorate. She was able to get me in the same week for the procedure. First of all, I never felt anything when she injected the painkiller into my gums. She had used a mild topical solution prior to the injection, but her technique during the injection was slow, and steady, and completely painless. While she was drilling, my second tooth, I flinched just very slightly because I felt a slight pressure on the tooth. She stopped immediately and asked me if I was OK and if I had just "felt that", I said, yes, and she offered me an additional shot, and waited for it to take affect before she continued her work. When the fillings were complete, she checked the bite several times, and it was perfect! It never even felt as if I had gotten any work done. She is a perfectionist, takes her time, and I could not be happier with her dentistry work!
