A few years back I had really bad Acid Reflux. To make sure everything was okay internally, I wound up seeing Dr. Kongara for an Endoscopy. Now, even though my mother is a retired Doctor, I still hate going to the Doctor. When I attended my initial consult, her relaxing yet bubbly personality put me at ease. The procedure found nothing and went as smooth as possible. A few weeks back, I had the dreaded colonoscopy with her and to my surprise even being scared of having this procedure, she eased all of my concerns. And as a man getting this procedure, easing my fears was not an easy task. But, she was able to do that. I commend her outstanding bedside manner that many Doctors lack today. I have already recommend her to my buddies that are also avoiding this dreaded procedure. However, if she could ease my fears and talk me off the nervous edge, she can deal with any one, especially, men. I highly recommend her. She also understands GREATLY, the health concerns-issues of men of color.
