I have been under Dr. Samra's care for a couple years now, and quite honestly, I could not have asked for a more qualified and compassionate Oncologist. From day one he was upfront with my condition and how treatment may look should we get to that point. He orders tests when their necessary, but is also very receptive when I may have compelling reasons to skip a procedure. In my experience, that is quite uncommon among healthcare professionals. Don't get me wrong, 99.9% of the time I'm going to do exactly what Dr. Samra recommends, but that fact that he is willing to listen when I have a differing opinion mean the world to me. Bottomline, I'm the one taking this walk with cancer, Dr. Samra is walking just ahead to help minimize the bumps along my way.
