I first visited Dr Gritz himself in 2016. His diagnosis was completely opposite one from a few others. I didn’t agree the “others’” were the best. Not that they were wrong, but psychiatry is very subjective to the individual and requires an “out of the box thinking” assessment. Dr. Gritz is brilliant. Controlled substances are there to control things. That’s what they do. Our thoughts, our choices, our actions also exist to be used as tools to control things. The freedom we as humans have is the freedom of choosing what we allow to control us or our moods, thoughts, feelings, and actions. Keep in mind- behavior patterns are a series of repetitive actions influenced by our feelings which are created from our thoughts- Not our psychiatrist or the prescriptions they trust we will control as directed and expected to as adults. I have since seen two other doctors in his office and each one has there specialties and I have benefited greatly from every member of there staff.
