I have been going to Dr. Bortel for about 10 years. He is a very knowledgeable, considerate and passionate individual. Dr. Bortel has treated me for planter fasciitis and performed surgery on both my feet for hammer toe issue and removed (2) bunions, plus he re-attached a ligament to one of my toes (that caused the hammer toe). I am very skeptical of any doctor who has to perform surgery on me. But, after the surgery I have had no issues. The office visits are always polite, professional and informative. I would recommend anyone and everyone that if they want the best podiatrist in business, DR. BORTEL IS THE MAN! (Dr. Bortel is one of Northwest Ohio best kept secrets, when it comes to servicing your feet).
