Over a period of about 20 years, my wife and I visited several primary care physicians. Each was congenial but didn't seem to be up to date or thorough enough. We're in our 60's and have to be more careful about our physical condition, so we started looking for a qualified practitioner. Family and friends didn't have any compelling recommendations. In 2018 we found Dr. Bella Kushnir after researching medical sites including the NYU Langone Tisch Hospital. She was impressive from the initial visit and we continue to remain her patients. Now our daughter and son-in-law who are in their 30's are also her patients. Dr. Kushnir spends an appropriate amount of time at our annual visits carefully examining our medical history, medications and any changes in our health. She does a thorough blood review and makes very skilled recommendations. Any condition that warrants a specialist, she guides us accordingly. She is what a primary care physician should be. Dr. Kushnir is excellent.
