I credit Dr. Widener with saving my husband's life after a colleague took him off blood thinners (my husband even told her "I feel like I still have blood clots in my lungs" and she said, "there's no way." Two weeks later he nearly died from a PE). Dr. Widener listened and gave him treatment which saved his life.
