Patient Reviews
Jun 03, 2020
I was in UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill for eight days. I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. Dr. Chilcutt was on the team of Cardiologists that was working with me. He was professional, courteous, empathetic, calm, and reassuring. All of these things made me see that he chose the right profession. He was knowledgeable and willing to answer questions, and did so in a way that I could understand them clearly. His concern for my well-being was genuine. I consider myself fortunate to have been his patient.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
