Dr. Cooley is an awesome listener and remembered important details that was important to my mental health. He always encouraged me on the things that I was doing right to take care of myself and made me feel that we were collaborating together in choosing treatment options. He would make a suggestion on medications that he felt would best treat my symptoms and let me know the side effects and gave me the choice in choosing which one sounds best for me. And when a medication affected me negatively, he never allowed me to continue in hope of it benefiting later. Because of him, I don’t have never severe side effect stories like most people because he listened and genuinely wanted me to get better, not worst. He got me on a dosage of medication that has helped stabilize my bipolar II for the past two years. I literally thank Yahweh for him.
