My wife had an appointment w Dr. Szpila after presenting to the ER w progressive tremor on her left side. The carotid ultrasound in the ER showed stenosis of the left carotid artery. We had a discussion with Dr Szpila about her results. He gave us a comprehensive evaluation of what he saw, where he thought my wife was medically, and clearly stated what our options are and the likely outcomes. Clearly, and comprehensively! A great communicator, and very observant.
