While I do agree that Dr. Burkett can come off as slightly arrogant, the man knows what he is doing. I had a herniated disc in my neck and while I didn't want to do surgery Dr. Burkett was able to give me relief with other treatments. When I finally decided to have surgery I had the easiest surgery and recovery of anything I have ever had. He followed up personally the next day and my follow up appointment was a breeze. He wasn't even smug when I told him I should have listened to him in the first place and had the surgery years ago! I would go back to him in an instant if I had any other ortho needs.
