When I go to a doctor, I want someone who is gonna fix my problem. I want Dr. Murcek. I don’t need someone who is gonna sugar coat my situation or hold my hand and blow sunshine in places it shouldn’t be. Dr. Murcek explained my condition to me quite clearly. He even told me “you’re gonna hate me but then you are gonna love me”. He was so right! I hated the procedure and the recovery but I loved the final product. He did what had to be done. He removed 1 nodule in the roof of my mouth and half of my thyroid, which had 3 nodules, all in the same surgery. While some complained about his bedside manner, I appreciate his honesty and his directly to the point attitude. Maybe if people got to know him a little they’d see that he is truly a wonderful man and doctor. I got to know him and even made him laugh. First and foremost, Dr. Murcek is there to fix patient’s problems. As far as his office staff, they are also very professional and to the point.
