Two and a half weeks ago I had my second anterior full hip replacement surgery done by Dr. Tardieu on the left side. My right hip was replaced about 7 months ago. After a week I was walking without a cane. Both scars are about 5 inches long. Several months after the first surgery I was able to resume my yoga postures including the bow pose, arching the back and stretching the muscles down the front of my thigh. No pain, no joint issues. I expect the same for my left side in a couple of months. I highly recommend Dr. Tardieu for joint replacement. Very helpful in answering all my questions and good bedside manner.
