I was referred to Dr. Macintosh by my pediatrician for anxiety. Although my appointment with her was somewhat short, she was very professional and seemed to know exactly what I was trying to describe to her. I felt like she could read me like a book, but in that moment, that's what I needed her to do. I think she could tell I was hesitant to say what I wanted to say, but nonetheless she was able to make me feel seen and validated in regard to my emotional symptoms. I think she retired a few months after I saw her, but I have to say that she is much kinder and more knowledgeable than the other reviews seem to make her.
