After receiving the news that I had a thoracic sarcoma for which I had surgery already done I was referred to Duke and Dr. Tong for a follow up. The surgeon wasn't able to get clean borders so I will have to undergo another surgery. After meeting Dr. Tong and her PA, I was put completely at ease. She made me feel that I was her number one priority and that I am going to receive the best of care. I feel fortunate to have her as my surgeon and though not looking forward to another surgery, feel I am in the best hands available.
