My journey through managing diverticulitis took a significant turn after an unsettling experience at UT Physicians. Initially, I consulted with a doctor there who seemed more interested in rushing through the process than understanding my condition. The consultation was fast; the doctor hardly listened to my concerns or examined me , but was quick to schedule surgery and collect the copay. It felt impersonal and hasty, like I was just another case file on their desk.Feeling uneasy about the lack of care and attention, I sought a second opinion and thankfully found Dr. Das. The contrast in my experience was stark and immediately noticeable. Dr. Das took the time to really listen to me, conducted a comprehensive examination, and discussed various treatment options. He explained the benefits of minimally invasive surgery and made sure I understood the procedure and felt comfortable before proceeding.The care I received from Dr. Das was amazing. Im now 2 weeks postop and feel great.
